TFG: Hurricane Tiger Edition #8 Miami vs. #25 LSU 7:30 PM ABCLocation: AT&T Stadium aka Jerry World - The Hurricanes and Tigers travel to Jerry World to do battle. Miami is the favorite to win the ACC Coastal division in 2018. LSU isn?t favored to win their division thanks to some program in Tuscaloosa Jayon Brown Jersey White , AL. LSU has some coaching controversy as they replaced one of their better OCs with what seems like a yes man. Ed Orgeron needs to win and win big immediately or he?ll be on the hot seat. Both teams feature top defenses that are littered with future pros and offenses that can just barely get it done. It will be interesting to see which Miami QB Malik Rosier shows up. The not so bad one or the terrible one that finished the year? Miami wins in an away game for this one. Miami prospects to watch1. Jaquan Johnson 5?11 190 S Senior- Johnson is one of the best safeties in the class that hardly anyone talks about. He?s been at Miami for a long time now. Was one of the best safeties last year in the entire ACC and three of them got drafted within the first two rounds in 2018. A guy who?s seemingly always around the ball. Tackling fundamentals are on point. Football IQ is a plus.2. Ahmonn Richards 6?1 190 WR Junior- Richards was a sensation as a freshman before getting hurt as a sophomore. He was very inconsistent as a sophomore due to injuries. An elite athlete that can run routes proficiently sound. He?s very good at just finding the open space and utilizing every bit of his talent. Deep threat. Could one of the better receivers in the country if he can stay healthy. 3. Tyree St. Louis 6?5 305 OT Senior- Underrated tackle prospect that has been on the radar for a couple of years now. Versatile enough to play both tackle positions. Will play left tackle as senior. 4. Michael Pinckney 6?1 220 LB Junior- One of the best linebackers in the ACC. Undersized, yes but so are the times of the NFL in regards to the position. Can cover sideline to sideline with the best. Football IQ is a plus. The frame questions will cause some pause for teams as he gets lost in the wash quite frequently. LSU prospects to watch1. Greedy Williams 6?1 182 CB RS Sophomore- Williams is the best corner in the country and it isn?t close. He has the speed and athleticism thing down pat along with the height. Lateral agility is a major plus. Can keep up with any receiver in the nation. 2. Devin White 6?0 240 LB Junior- Next man up to take the star linebacker turn in Baton Rouge before going pro. White has flashed a bunch over his first two years. He?s now the leader of the defense. Height may be an issue at the next level but the athleticism isn?t. Plus character and work ethic. The third-year defensive end is quietly putting together another high quality season."WhiteFanposts Fanshots Sections Tennessee Titans PodcastTitans Week 14 Enemy Profile: Yannick NgakoueNew,2commentsThe third-year defensive end is quietly putting together another high quality season.ByJohn R. Kinsley@BrickwallblitzDec6, 2018,9:00am CSTShareTweetShareShareTitans Week 14 Enemy Profile: Yannick NgakoueReinhold Matay-USA TODAY SportsRound two between the Titans and Jaguars commences on Thursday Night, and improbably, Tennessee has a three-game winning streak against Jacksonville. Yes, they seem to be a thorn in the Jaguars? side, and on Thursday Night on the road they?ll need to continue on that path in order to keep their season alive. The Jaguars? defense hasn?t been close to as good as it was in 2017, only putting up 24 sacks through 13 weeks (sixth fewest in the league) in comparison to the 55 they put up last year (second most). Still, this is a decent squad, and one of the more impressive players on this defense has been third-year defensive end Yannick Ngakoue. In 2017, Ngakoue made the Pro Bowl as one of the stars of the Jaguars defense, putting up 12 sacks, 10 tackles for loss, a league leading six forced fumbles, and 23 quarterback hits. Through 12 games in 2018, Ngakoue only has seven sacks, but actually has more quarterback hits this season (25) and the same amount of tackles for loss (10). In fact, Ngakoue?s 25 QB hits are tied with Chiefs outside linebacker Dee Ford for the second most this season (behind human freight train Aaron Donald?s 32).The good news? In five career games against the Titans, Ngakoue has managed one sack, two tackles for loss and three quarterback hits. So Tennessee has done a nice job for minimizing this young savage?s impact http://www.thetitanslockerroom.com/authentic-daquan-jones-jersey , but with a poor offensive line (outside of Taylor Lewan), will they be able to contain the beast?Let?s take a look at what the Titans have to keep in mind in this week?s Titans Enemy Profile.gamepass.nfl.comAt this point Taylor Lewan is very familiar with Ngakoue?s skill set, and on Ngakoue?s appearance on this year?s NFL Top 100, Lewan mentioned the pass rusher?s trademark move; the cross chop. With this, Ngakoue will block a stab from the tackle with his left arm then counter it with a chop from his right, giving him outside leverage and pressure on the quarterback. On his strip sack on Andrew Luck from last week (wiped off due to a holding penalty), Ngakoue doesn?t chop, but he does counter left tackle Anthony Costonzo?s stab move with his left hand. He?s able to get outside on Costonzo and swats the ball out of Luck?s hands. The play doesn?t count, but Ngakoue?s presence is felt.gamepass.nfl.comNear the end of the first half of the same game, Ngakoue nearly picked up a sack on Luck, but instead got a QB hit out of it. Regardless, he still makes Luck?s life a living hell by putting the pressure on him, again working against Castonzo.Like before, Ngakoue uses a counter move to work against the stab, but this time he goes a bit further by stopping himself and using his left arm to shove Castonzo aside. As he?s doing this he ducks his head to get by and win the power struggle. Despite his best efforts, Luck is able to get this ball out to Eric Ebron, but just barely.Yannick Ngakoue would eventually get a sack later in the game, but it was essentially a coverage sack. The point is that this dude is a freak pass rusher, and despite Tennessee?s success against him, he should not be overlooked heading into Thursday?s AFC South showdown.
